She worked previously for CBS Sports, Fox Sports. Kolber from Pennsylvania has a master's education from University of Miami. Kolber's first job was in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She took home a Sports Emmy while working at WTVJ-TV, Miami. In addition, she worked at WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993 she joined ESPN and was selected as one of the initial anchors of ESPN2 as it came out at the time. After working at ESPN2 during the next 3 years Fox Sports hired her. In 1999 she was hired by ESPN to host 'Monday night Countdown.'
